DAVID HORN: Digital Marketing Manager, ANSYS
David serves as head of digital marketing for ANSYS, Inc., the global leader in engineering simulation software. In this role he leads the web and marketing automation teams, directly managing employees in the United States, Canada and India. David has a degree in English from Westminster College with a concentration in post-WWII American literature and contextual criticism. Starting his career in a steel mill (you know, as most English majors do) he quickly moved on to consulting and marketing roles where he has accrued almost 20 years of experience in both early stage start-ups and well-established brands as a digital marketing and marketing campaign management professional.
NEIL OWEN: Director, Global Marketing, FS-Elliott Co., LLC
Neil Owen moved to Pittsburgh from the UK in 2011. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland prior to entering the Manufacturing sector in a variety of technical roles before moving into the commercial side of the business, most recently to his role of Director of Marketing for FS-Elliott. Neil is an advocate of leveraging modern technologies coupled with a listen-first & often philosophy to engage his customer base. Since taking the role of Director of the Communications Committee within the Pittsburgh chapter of the AMA, he has enjoyed volunteering his time supporting the many events & initiatives that the chapter has managed. A self-confessed “adopted yinzer” residing in the Northside of Pittsburgh with his wife & daughter, he takes pride in his local community and welcoming other newcomers to the city with the same customary warmth that he has enjoyed throughout his time here.
ANNE PARYS: Director of Marketing, Rothman Gordon
Anne Parys is the Director of Marketing for Rothman Gordon. In addition to developing and implementing annual and long-term marketing plans, she works with every attorney to develop their own marketing strengths and initiatives. Anne oversees all aspects of marketing, including budgeting, PR and advertising, market research, branding, and all print material and social media. Her articles have been published in the ABA’s Law Practice Today, TechnoLawyer, ACBA’s The Lawyers Journal and The Pennsylvania Lawyer. Prior to joining Rothman Gordon, she was a senior marketing coordinator for Deloitte & Touche. Anne has been a member of ALA and PLAA since 2004. She served on the Education Conference Committee in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2012. She was elected Secretary-Elect in 2008 and served as Secretary through March 31, 2010. She assumed the role of To the Point Editor in 2010, which she still holds. Anne earned her B.A. in English and her Masters of Liberal Studies from Duquesne University. She is a member of the Professional Services Marketing Association (PSMA) and serves on the marketing committees of the 3 Rivers Venture Fair and the Association for Corporate Growth Annual Conference. In her community, Anne is the Secretary of the South Side Local Development Company (SSLDC) Board and also serves on the South Side Soup Contest committee, an annual fundraiser to support the Brashear Association and the South Side Chamber of Commerce.
JEFF REVILLA: Digital Marketing Director, Smail Auto Group
Jeff Revilla is the Digital Marketing Director for the Smail Auto Group. He oversees the digital footprint for 10 automobile franchises involving the management of all websites, search engine marketing, social media, video and reputation management. He and his team continually rank in the top 1% of all Acura and Honda dealers in national quarterly assessments pertaining to SEO, Social Media and Reputation Management. When he is not working on digital marketing he is producing his trivia game show podcast: “Stuff I Never Knew”, and his disc golf show: “Disc Golf Examiner.” Jeff graduated from Point Park University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and a Minor in Marketing.
LINDSAY ZALTMAN: CEO/Partner, Olson Zaltman
Before joining Olson Zaltman as Managing Director, Lindsay had a successful career as an Account Planner in the Consumer Insight Group at Arnold Worldwide in Boston. Lindsay is co-author (with Gerald Zaltman) of the book Marketing Metaphoria: What Deep Metaphors Reveal about the Minds of Consumers. He has been published in The Harvard Business Review and The Handbook of Marketing Research, and has been cited in TED Conferences, The New York Times, Fast Company Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, Variety and The Journal of Business Research. He was also the key brand consultant for filmmaker Morgan Spurlock in his movie on product placement and branding, The Greatest Movie Ever Sold. Lindsay holds a Masters degree in Marketing Research from The University of Georgia, and a Bachelors in Anthropology from The University of Maine. He lectures regularly at Fortune 500 companies and conferences throughout the world, and spends his free time with his family, fishing, cooking, and traveling.
