| Summary: |
The Manager of Consumer Promotions for Ketchup and Frozen Potatoes will be expected to utilize targeted brand consumer insights to provide strategic guidance and direction in the creation, implementation and evaluation of consumer promotion campaigns for a portfolio of brands for the Ketchup and Frozen Potatoes businesses within Heinz NA. The manager will be accountable to ensure that brand plans meet or exceed stated business objectives, are delivered on time and within budget. They will apply objective, fact-based solutions to build and maintain brand loyalty with target consumer segments and will serve as an active member of brand business teams within the portfolio. |

| Responsibilities: |
- Provide strategic leadership in the development of promotional plans for assigned brand/s, that deliver stated business objectives, are grounded in relevant, fact-based consumer insights and are on-plan and within budget.
- Lead by example in commitment to flawless execution, unsurpassed client relationships and passion to win.
- Utilize existing tools/resources to continuously add to the database of proprietary consumer insights regarding key strategic brand targets.
- Actively seek out new tools to assist in building the data reservoir.
- Work as a brand steward to ensure promotional messaging that is on-brand and fully integrated across all elements of the marketing mix.
- Actively seek innovative new ways to establish relevant, ownable, Brand connections with target consumers.
- Participate in developing and executing annual agency summits and business reviews.
- Assist in the development and committed adherence to standardized process approaches across all business units.
- Interface effectively with all brand teams within the assigned business unit portfolio.
- Support finance and brand teams regarding both financial and business reporting needs
- Seamlessly integrate with the Co-Marketing function and other departments within the Marketing Services group.
- Manage vendor partnerships for increased productivity and value added contribution
- Help maintain consumer promotions knowledge bank that can be linked directly to the Global Marketing Library.

Qualifications:
|
- 5-7 years Nationally Branded Consumer Packaged Goods Promotions. Brand Management experience a plus.
- Previous people management preferred but not required.
- The ideal candidate will have experience as part of a successful cross functional brand team.
- Strong interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) in a collaborative environment,
- Excellent presentation skills,
- Strong understanding of direct response/lead generation process with advertising and promotion and solid project management skills
- Experience in an environment that endorses team work, collaborative thinking, creativity, empowerment and results
- Good judgment as well as strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Proven, successful use and analysis of a wide range of available data (both consumer and transactional) to drive positive business results
- Demonstrated ability translating brand strategy into creative and promotion plans that are 'on-brand' and that communicate relevant, on-trend solutions to the target consumer
