| Summary: |
The retail food business today utilizes a much more complex set of distribution channels than ever before. With the growing sophistication of retailers, manufactures have had to find ways to incorporate their brand strategies into the position and strategies of their retailer partners. Win-win programs are essential if a company is to secure critical merchandising support.
At Heinz, the Co-Marketing team is responsible for serving as the liaison between and among the retailers, field sales, category management, and brand marketing. They develop, implement and direct co-marketing strategies and plans for key customers that deliver to Heinz operating income objectives, while ensuring the alignment of customer strategies with the strategies and objectives of the individual business unites and brands.
The Manager, Co-Marketing is accountable for leading the planning and implementation of the annual corporate Co-Marketing programming and events through the management of co-marketing agencies and facilitation of relationships and dialogue with field sales, category development, and brand marketing. |

| Responsibilities: |
- Review consumer and trade objectives and strategies and translate them into co-marketing strategies and plans that deliver brand volume and profit objectives.
- Plan, implement and evaluate the annual Corporate Co-Marketing Events (All About Family), working closely with Sales and Category Development to deliver event, volume and display objectives.
- Lead planning and execution of Customer Co-Marketing with key retail customers and Heinz field sales teams and geographies.
- Analyze the impact of Customer Co-Marketing strategies and plans on sales and profitability.
- Identify Co-Marketing project requirements and manage on-time execution.
- Provide in-depth financial analysis addressing Customer Co-Marketing brand and customer profitability.

Qualifications:
|
- Marketing, Communications or General Business Degree, with MBA or equivalent graduate degree required
- Minimum 4 years experience in account specific planning & execution with established skills in developing customer relationships.
- In-depth understanding of Brand Marketing and Customer Co-Marketing principles and an understanding of Grocery & Alt Channels go to market marketing strategies.
- Ability to identify, analyze, solve and recommend account specific marketing solutions for individual brand and corporate initiatives in, all classes of trade but most importantly, grocery, Wal*Mart & alt. channels.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with technological proficiency.
- Experience in developing and analyzing trade and consumer promotions.
- Ability to draft marketing and co-marketing plans and presentations utilizing consumer information databases and resources.
- Thorough knowledge of CPG business structure with emphasis in Marketing & Sales.
