| Summary: |
The overall role of brand management is to create consumer demand for Heinz Products. They are responsible for formulating the brand's long-term strategy and developing and executing marketing plans. They define the brand's pricing, packaging, trade merchandising, advertising and promotion strategies and allocate the budget accordingly. They execute marketing initiatives in support of long term strategies through leadership of the business unit team. They are accountable for delivering the brand's profit, volume and market share objectives. This position assists the business unit team on assigned brands or will manage smaller brands in all aspects of the P&L. |

| Responsibilities: |
- Contribute to the development of the overall Frozen Soups business strategy to grow the business
- Translate the business strategy into short and long-term business plans and execute against those plans
- Maximize profitability by monitoring volume, margins and pricing
Create monthly, annual, and long term volume forecasts
- Conduct business analysis and evaluate product performance and consumer behaviors, tastes, and preferences
- Utilize all available analytical tools to measure product effectiveness and gather key learning for continuous improvement
- Manage contingency plans to deal with dynamic foodservice environment
Communicate and work with the sales force leaders to monitor sales/product effectiveness
- Stay abreast of and communicate current market trends and competitive information
- Lead projects to identify, research, and execute cost savings, product improvement, and new product development
- Participate in establishing pricing policies
- Communicate to the sales force and create tools for use in selling products and concepts to customers

Qualifications:
|
- Bachelor's degree and MBA required
- 4 -7 years of brand/product management experience
- Knowledge of the foodservice channel of distribution preferred
- Strong financial literacy, with P&L ownership experience
- Significant experience driving growth through innovative product initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with R&D, including an understanding of culinary and manufacturing capabilities
- Working Knowledge in MS Office and data repository tools
- Sense of urgency; goal oriented; performance driven
- Outstanding strategic thinking and creative skills
- Proven capabilities to generate consumer insight through qualitative and quantitative research and translate into product development strategies
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Sound project management skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to project a professional image of the company both internally and externally
- Ability to build relationships, present ideas and lead people to support business goals
