2014 Collegiate Marketing Plan Competition Recap

AMA Pittsburgh would like to congratulate the winning teams and all those that participated and helped to make the Collegiate Marketing Plan Competition a success. The top five teams were:

  1. Women for  a Healthy Environment — Chatham University
  2. Light of Life Mission Fundraising Event — University of Pittsburgh
  3. Hidden Treasures — Chatham University
  4. PSO — West Liberty University
  5. Keystone — Slippery Rock University

Without the help from our dedicated volunteers, sponsors, advisors, judges, organizations — and of course students — we wouldn’t have had such a successful competition.

Knowing that we had plenty of support, we would like to thank our committee, chaired by Deb DeLong from Chatham, in addition to Steve Clinton from Robert Morris (who also sponsored the venue and lunch for the awards ceremony), Joe Scarpaci from West Liberty and Jeananne Nicholls from Slippery Rock. Also dedicating their valuable time were our judges, including Adam Golomb (Giant Eagle, Director of Marketing), Joseph Smith (Dollar Bank, Senior VP of Marketing), Gloria Blint (Red House Communications, President/CEO), Paul Carbone (UPMC Health Plan, Director Sales and Marketing) and Pam Koren (McDonald’s Corporation, Director of Consumer & Business Insight). And of course, the advisors, teachers and professors that worked with students teams in class or through clubs.

We look forward to a great competition next year!
