The Collegiate Relations Committee of AMA Pittsburgh sponsors two ongoing activities for collegiate members.

AMA Pittsburgh Collegiate Resume Book
Each year, AMA Pittsburgh offers collegiate members the opportunity to submit a resume to the Collegiate Resume Book. This book is made available and promoted to all members, which many members if they have a job opening.

Marketing Plan Contest
The Marketing Plan Contest provides collegiate chapter students the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge to a real world situation. The Contest is initiated with an Education Event that will educate students on the valuable work done by nonprofit organizations, their distinct marketing needs and challenges. Following the event, student teams are paired with nonprofit agencies to develop a marketing plan for the agency. The development of this comprehensive marketing plan will take place over a period of several months. Professional chapter members judge the plans, and the top finalists compete for monetary prizes, and they are invited to present their work to a panel of professional members as judges.

Programming
AMA Pittsburgh sponsors a variety of meetings and events for collegiate members.

Monthly Forum Meetings
On a monthly basis, the Collegiate Relations Professional Council holds a meeting for all local student chapters. The meetings are held at various locations in the Pittsburgh area and provide an opportunity for students leaders from all local AMA chapters to share ideas, gain information, and announce their chapter events and fundraisers. Also, the meetings serve as an opportunity for the Collegiate Committee to announce and invite students to AMA Pittsburgh Professional Events and provide assistance in any way possible to the chapter. Our monthly meetings are our main method of communication with the AMA student members in Pittsburgh.

Meetings & Events
AMA Pittsburgh extends the opportunity for all collegiate members to attend regularly scheduled meetings and events, such as our Luncheon Speaker Series, Networking Nights and Professional Development Programs. Students are offered reduced pricing for many of these events.

Additionally, each of the Collegiate Chapters have a regular schedule of meetings that are held on campus. Many of these chapters also hold special events and fundraising activities of their own. More information is available through each chapter president or advisor.
