Marketing Plan Contest
The Marketing Plan Contest provides collegiate chapter
students the opportunity to apply their classroom
knowledge to a real world situation. The Contest
is initiated with an Education Event that will educate
students on the valuable work done by nonprofit organizations,
their distinct marketing needs and challenges. Following
the event, student teams are paired with nonprofit
agencies to develop a marketing plan for the agency.

will take place over a period of several months.
Professional chapter members judge the plans, and
the top finalists compete for monetary prizes, and
they are invited to present their work to a panel
of professional members as judges.
Programming
AMA Pittsburgh sponsors a variety of meetings
and events for collegiate members.
Monthly Forum Meetings
On a monthly basis, the Collegiate Relations Professional
Council holds a meeting for all local student chapters.
The meetings are held at various locations in the
Pittsburgh area and provide an opportunity for students
leaders from all local AMA chapters to share ideas,
gain information, and announce their chapter events
and fundraisers. Also, the meetings serve as an opportunity
for the Collegiate Committee to announce and invite
students to AMA Pittsburgh Professional Events and
provide assistance in any way possible to the chapter.
Our monthly meetings are our main method of communication
with the AMA student members in Pittsburgh.
Meetings & Events
AMA Pittsburgh extends the opportunity for all collegiate
members to attend regularly scheduled meetings and
events, such as our Luncheon Speaker Series, Networking
Nights and Professional Development Programs. Students
are offered reduced pricing for many of these events.
Additionally, each of the Collegiate Chapters have
